It's about time I posted
Things that have been happening:
Ir'a cold and miserable outside so I'm staying indoors where it's warm.
I get my second COVID jab tomorrow. It was supposed to be next Tuesday but the surgery rang and asked if we could come in tomorrow instead. Yay, get it over and done with and hope there are no side effects. The first jab was fine, no problems, just a slightly sore arm so fingers crossed it's the same for the second.
Writing isn't happening - zilch ... nada ... nothing. A complete lack of will or inspiration. Ah well.
There was a total luna eclipse on 26th May. It was also a rainy/cloudy day but I did manage a couple of photos until the clouds covered it completely.

We had visitors in the garden - a whole flock of New Holland honeyeaters.

There must have been about 20 of them in all and they were flying between the orange tree

the leylandii

and the fence, making a great racket.

I was delighted because they haven't been around in our garden in such numbers for ages
Then a few days ago this ibis decided to poke around on the grass

before jumping on the fence and into the neighbour's garden.

This was a surprise! They hang out at the local school quite often but I have never seen one in our garden before.
There was a brillant sunset recently

And I spotted a couple of lorikeets nest building in a tree in the park

That's about it.
I still have to sort out photos from our Victoria trip (months ago now) and the Easter visit from daughter and family so there'll be more pic spams eventually.
I'll leave you with a local resident who gives new meaning to 'just chillin'
